Meet the Team

Dr Dalia Henss has been proudly serving the Shire community for over five years. She graduated from the University of Western Sydney in 2015 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2022.

Her medical training includes an internship and residency at St George and Sutherland Hospitals, where she gained valuable experience across multiple specialties, including aged care, oncology, cardiology, and emergency medicine. With a strong passion for paediatrics, Dr Henss completed six months in clinical paediatrics at St George Public Hospital and earned a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from Sydney Children’s Hospital in 2018. She further expanded her expertise in dermatology by completing a Professional Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine in 2020.

Dr Henss is dedicated to holistic, patient-centred care and has a wide range of special interests, including:

• Women’s Health:Specialising in perimenopause/menopause management and contraceptive services, including Implanon and intrauterine device (IUD) procedures.
• Antenatal Care:Providing shared antenatal care in partnership with St George and Sutherland Hospitals.
• Mental Health:Supporting patients with compassionate and evidence-based care.
• Skin Cancer Management:Performing comprehensive skin checks, biopsies, and minor skin excisions.
• Preventative Medicine:Focusing on proactive health measures to improve patient outcomes.
• Paediatrics and Infant Health:Delivering expert care to children and their families.

In her free time, Dr Henss enjoys walking and relaxing with a good thriller movie.

Dr Reza Ajam completed his medical degree (MD) at Bond University in 2018 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). He completed his hospital residency at Gold Coast University Hospital and Redland Hospital in Queensland, gaining valuable experience across multiple specialties, including rural medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, general medicine, psychiatry, orthopaedic surgery, emergency, paediatrics, paediatric emergency, and palliative care.

Dr Ajam is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and has a special interest in:

• Urgent Care – Treating acute illnesses and injuries, including fractures, dislocations, stitches, abscesses, and foreign body removals.
• Chronic Disease Management – Supporting patients with long-term conditions through evidence-based treatments and personalised care plans.
• Chronic Pain Management – Utilising innovative, non-invasive therapies such as Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) and Emotional Awareness & Expression Therapy (EAET) to address the root causes of pain and improve quality of life.
• Cosmetic Medicine – Providing aesthetic treatments aimed at enhancing patient confidence and well-being.
• Women’s Health – Offering comprehensive care, including reproductive health and general wellness.
• Children’s Health – Ensuring the health and development of young patients through preventive and general medical care.

In his free time, Dr Ajam enjoys playing soccer and DJing.

Dr. Neela Vallabhjee is an experienced General Practitioner with over 25 years of medical practice in the Sutherland Shire. She completed her medical degree (MBCHB)  at the University of Natal in South Africa. Dr Neela has trained at St George Hospital and Canterbury Hospital. Completed six months of specialized training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Campbelltown Hospital.

She has a special interest in several key areas of medicine, including:

• General Medicine – Providing comprehensive care for a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions.
• Women’s Health – Managing reproductive health, menopause, hormonal issues, and overall well-being for women at all life stages.
• Pediatrics – Caring for infants, children, and adolescents, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and developmental assessments.
• Chronic Disease Management – Supporting patients with long-term conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and heart disease through ongoing treatment and lifestyle management.
• Preventative Medicine – Emphasizing early detection and prevention of illnesses through screenings, health education, and lifestyle interventions.
• Mental Health – Providing compassionate care for patients experiencing anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions.

Dr Peter Kar Yun Lee is a highly experienced general practitioner who has been proudly serving the Sutherland Shire community since 2018. He graduated from Monash University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS, MD) and, after initially training in surgery, transitioned to general practice in 1997 to focus on delivering care within the community.

Dr. Lee has worked extensively in the Sutherland Shire, where he has been actively involved in shared antenatal care with Sutherland Hospital, chronic disease management, and providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages. He has also contributed to the development of future GPs as a GP trainer from 2020 to 2021.

In recent years, Dr Lee has focused on managing complex chronic conditions, WorkCover cases, mental health support, and preventative health care for the local community. He is committed to delivering holistic, patient-centred care and is passionate about promoting long-term health and wellbeing.

Dr Lee’s areas of special interest include:

• General Medicine – Managing a wide range of acute and chronic health concerns.
• Preventative Medicine – Early detection and prevention through screenings and lifestyle interventions.
• Paediatrics & Infant Health – Routine health checks, immunisations, and developmental care.

• Men’s Health – Comprehensive care including reproductive health, preventative care, and general wellbeing.
• Travel Medicine – Pre-travel advice and vaccinations.

In his spare time, Dr Lee enjoys woodworking, building scale models, and exploring new cultures through travel and food.
